Laser Therapy Laser therapy is a USDA approved treatment modality. It utilizes a low-level laser system that applies photons to the skin and deeper tissues. The photons create an anti-inflammatory effect and increase circulation without damaging the tissues. Ultimately this leads to decreased pain and markedly increased healing time when used for injury treatment. Conditions commonly treated with laser therapy include but are not limited to:
- Traumatic injuries of the skin and musculoskeletal system
- Back and joint pain due to arthritis and intervertebral disk disease
- Post-operative treatment of surgical sites
- Inflammatory skin disorders
- Ear Infections
